Great for day hiking and most outdoor activities. It's comfortable, waterproof, has a very modern style and uses high quality materials - especially the Merrell sole. Available only at Cabela's.

THE GOOD
The Merrell Reflex sole is a little better than the Vibram sole on the Pulse II. This boot is built to be comfortable out of the box and is made with quality materials.
THE BAD
The lining is a step up from standard mesh but is a bit warm on hot days. The Reflex is a few ounces heavier compared to most light hikers.
THE FIT & COMFORT
Has a standard foot shape (slight curve and medium width) the same as Nike ACG and The North Face. The arch is low and the toe is slightly narrow.

If you are wondering why they are hard to find it's cause they are. The Reflex is a special boot made for Cabela's and it's very similar to the Merrell Pulse II.
